Unit 2 – Assignment 1 – Part 2
This editing assignment, I actually did not want to do much for editing as I had tried really hard to get my pictures as perfect as possible via camera. I do notice however that often what appears to be perfect lighting on the camera turns out a bit darker or brighter on the computer, so i started off with auto adjustments and slightly shifted around the exposure or contrast. I kept this editing simple.
Assignment 2
Okay for this assignment I decided to set up a plant tray scene, when i edited it I enhanced the shadows and a few other tweaks to really make the colors pop.
For the cat – I also enhanced the darkness – one of the few times she allowed me to snap several pictures – which is really challenging when playing with settings and she could have jumped away any moment !
For the flower – I wanted an up close and vibrant photo with some elements blurred, in the edited version i enhanced the brightness of the pink and white.
For the Frozen figure – well my toddler insisted on helping me with this one… and the lighting just so happened to create a very frozen -ish light effect so I decided to roll with it. in my editing i noticed that some of the features blurred a little, and the cropping of the photo actually changed the picture size – which i am not fond of.
